Damon Robertson
Sales Director
Damon Robertson joined Coolspirit as Managing Director in 1998. Previous to Coolspirit, Damon held the position of UK Financial Sales Director at Servo where he managed a portfolio of ten of the UKs leading banks and honed his skills in mainframe backup solutions.
Since joining Coolspirit, Damon has taken the company through many transitions due to advances in technology and data ensuring that Coolspirit are always at the forefront of providing cutting edge solutions to clients and he spearheaded the implementation of ISO 9001:2008 accreditation in 2009.
Damon has been instrumental in Coolspirit winning a number of awards including First Quantum dedupe device installed in the UK 2007 and Quantum UK Solutions Sales for 2012.
Cliff Wright
Sales Manager
Since joining Coolspirit in 2001, Cliff Wright has played a key role in a vast number of backup, restore, archive and storage solution projects.
Cliff specialises in providing solutions for clients in the oil and gas industry and local government authorities and has worked with over 70% of local authorities, providing them with a variety of options from pre-labelled backup tapes to Tier 1 SAN storage overhauls.
Recently, Cliff successfully completed a large capacity replicate de-duplication appliance solution project for the UK's largest property company.
Cliff's experience and knowledge of current leading technology implementations has allowed him to guide the account management team in providing the very best data solutions for their clients.

Alex Raben
Enterprise Solutions
Alex Raben brings over 14 years of IT industry experience to Coolspirit, having previously worked as a Systems Director providing a wide range of solutions from software to large scale SAN implementation.
Alex joined Coolspirit in 2006 and has successfully designed and project managed hundreds of high profile solutions for clients with varying data counts, from terabytes to multiple petabytes, by utilising a variety of methods based around tape and de-duplication backups through to the implementation of enterprise scale infrastructure storage projects.
Most recently Alex provided enterprise class tape libraries for leading clients in the financial sector and SAN solutions for local government. Alex's technical ability and experience means that he can provide clients across all sectors with solutions designed around their individual needs.

Julia Robertson
Finance Director
Julia Robertson has had a long and outstanding career in finance where she has specialised in the implementation of systems to improve business efficiency. Before joining Coolspirit in 1998 as Finance Director, Julia successfully completed a 3 year project installing a finance, logistics and management system for a leading waste oil company.
Since 1998, Julia has used her experience at Coolspirit to implement SAP which has seen business efficiency improve by 100% and took a principle role in the company becoming ISO 9001:2008 accredited.

James Drew
Account Management Executive
James Drew joined Coolspirit in 2012 as Sales Support, primarily maintaining accounts from all sectors but progressed quickly to earn the role of Account Manager in less than a year.
James proactively manages new and existing accounts, delivering backup, archive and data storage solutions to a wide spectrum of clients. With a varied portfolio, James has the adaptability and insight to provide IT solutions to any industry type and specialises in providing high levels of customer support and advice as well as on-going analysis of clients' systems to see how innovative new technologies could benefit them further.

Diane Dawson ACQI
Business Services Manager
Diane Dawson is a fully qualified Lead Auditor of quality systems and a member of the Chartered Quality Institute as well as an Associate and Registered Auditor with IRCA.
This experience has allowed her to successfully implement and maintain quality systems for Coolspirit. Since joining Coolspirit in 2002, Diane has been responsible for purchase and sales ledgers as well as other administrative duties and co-ordinating the efforts of the business service team.
During her time at Coolspirit, Diane has managed to negotiate a variety of payment solutions with clients to keep aged debtor amounts low and improve business efficiency.
Mark Hughes
Account Management Executive
Mark Hughes specialises in delivering data storage and protection solutions to clients in the food and drink, housing, manufacturing and engineering sectors and joined Coolspirit in 2011.
Mark assists clients in the design of new data storage solutions, manages the implementation of new systems and analyses and optimises existing systems to maximise business productivity.
Recently, Mark has played a principle role in the design and application of a new storage, virtualisation, backup and DR solution for a fast-growing Housing Association in London and successfully executed an enterprise, replicated disk backup solution for a software development company utilising de-duplication technology which significantly reduced their backup window.

Paul Vardy
Account Management Executive
Paul Vardy has a strong track record in account management having worked for and achieved multiple awards in a number of industry leading companies in the motor, manufacturing and utilities sector.
Paul joined Coolspirit in 2008 and utilises his account management skills to deliver backup, archive and data storage solutions to clients in the chemical and pharmaceutical, education, energy and legal sectors. Paul was responsible for installing Coolspirit's first hybrid flash/SATA based primary SAN for a large UK pharmaceutical client which removed the cost of disk spindles through the introduction of flash technology and doubled io performance.
Most recently, Paul completed a project to consolidate data protection software for a global online gaming company on to a single platform, helping to reduce administration requirements and associated costs.

Steve Clayton
Account Management Executive
Steven Clayton joined Coolspirit in 2006 and specialises in delivering bespoke data storage solutions to IT departments in the NHS, media, construction and aviation sectors. Steven works closely with clients to understand their data storage requirements in order to find best-of breed solutions.
With a long and successful track record for helping £BN companies, Steven was responsible for installing the first UK Quantum de-duplication appliance into the NHS and has been pivotal in the completion of a vast number of projects around cloud services and large scale, multi-petabyte online archive solutions.
Steven is also an award winning Account Manager, having received the Quantum DXi Solution Sales award in 2012 which is awarded by customers for overall satisfaction with a DXi solution.

Jayne Minto
Business Services Administrator
Jayne Minto brings years of experience in administration, co-ordination and business reporting to Coolspirit which she has gained from working for a number of high profile companies in the medical supplies and stationery manufacturing sectors.
Jayne joined Coolspirit in 2007 and specialises in the co-ordination and implementation of management systems and account packages. Jayne is responsible for the sourcing and purchasing of clients' products and materials and is a registered member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
Steve Dawson
Logistics Manager
Steve Dawson has a wealth of experience in logistics and operational support and has played a pivotal role in keeping Coolspirit operating efficiently since joining the company in 2006.
He is responsible for the entirety of Coolspirit's supply chain - monitoring, maintaining, labelling and quality controlling the company's stock, as well as reviewing and renewing all contracts in regards to maintenance and delivery. Steve’s specialised skills in stock control and logistical analysis has been instrumental in reducing costs and helping retain ISO accreditation.
Alistair Ward
Enterprise Solutions
Alistair joined Coolspirit in 2013 as member of the Enterprise solutions team. Previous to Coolspirit, Alistair was a leading pre sales engineer at Quantum, the world’s leading backup and archive device manufacturer where he provided pre sales support to Quantum sales people across the UK, supplying both FTSE 100 companies and leading developing companies.
At Coolspirit, Alistair provides pre sales advice to clients and designs product based solutions around specific needs across all business sectors including higher education, local government and manufacturing. Alistair has recently played an instrumental role in a range of projects for a global commercial property consultancy and several leading research institutes.

Warren Wheatcroft
Account Management Executive
Warren Wheatcroft joined Coolspirit in 2009 and specialises in delivering bespoke data storage solutions to IT departments in the financial, technological, charity and aerospace sectors. His responsibilities include providing market leading backup and archive solutions from the leading vendors of disk, tape and software to improve the efficiency of a company’s data protection environment.
Warren has been pivotal in the completion of a vast range of enterprise projects around data protection software, SAN/NAS, disk-duplication and tape libraries and most recently, played an instrumental role in providing a major financial services client with a Quantum DXi de-duplication solution. This removed the requirement for a costly cloud solution and created significant savings on the client’s storage overheads.

Sarah Morgan

Sarah has been labelling tapes for the last 2 years for COOLSPIRiT while studying Sports Science at Sheffield Hallam University.
