The leading construction and facilities company had previously utilised the design & deployment services from our data infrastructure experts at COOLSPIRiT which enabled the company to successfully deploy a Nimble CS3000 storage solution.
The platform delivers > 99.9999% measured availability to their users while helping the IT team realise the benefits that Nimble’s InfoSight and Nimble’s flash optimised CASL file architecture brings to their mission critical applications.
This first project proved to be a great success, with the CS3000 delivering performance as required and well within budget compared to previous purchases. So when a second project was scheduled that required additional storage, COOLSPIRiT & Nimble Storage was the obvious choice for inclusion in the project.
The performance requirements for this second project were higher, due to the criticality of the applications being hosted being the company’s main applications within the business. As such an All Flash AF7000 arrays with 92TB of capacity was chosen and deployed. Also at this time the existing CS3000 was expanded via capacity and cache increases to help with demands on the companies growing data and applications performance requirements.
The CS7000 is designed for consolidating multiple large-scale critical applications with aggressive performance demands, while the integrated InfoSight support system offers predictive analytics, automatically resolving 86% of issues before you know there is a problem, helping to deliver > 99.9999% measured availability.
